I got 2 of those in mine
and the 1666 game is bad, I like that the demo has gotten such bad reviews
you never see that
Replying to Phijkchu_Pikachu #klombak I wonder why they used this font
Is this Indian? It feels Indian.

I keep seeing these monkey ball remakes
idk, I am just filtering to just 3D platformers
That is MY slop

there are so many monkey ball games this next fest
I have concluded there are 0 (zero) worthwhile 3D platformers this nextfest
Replying to Spooky Phijkchu #spooky.131 Arkane is probably going to be kept alive until their upcoming Marvel game flops, then closed Rare and Ninja Theory could get a major reductions, but survive Compulsion hasn't made anything great, but they're small and artsy so there's no reason to cut them
Spooky underestimated,
Ninja Theory, Compulsion, DoubleFine and Arkane are cut
sounds like they're going to be released with most of their IPs
Wait
that's fucking crazy
the big reveal at the show last week for Senua
they're cutting that studio
at least with the other 3 their games are either in dev hell or have just finished flopping
why bother with a big hype trailer if you're shutting the studio

With A Heavy Heart

This is the game polu was playing and I was standing behind him at anime north
while the black dev was awkwardly hovering over us
I didn't play it, he kept telling me "there is a second PC" and I just kept reiterating that I was fine just watching
this may have been the best of the 3 games on display at AN

Bad news, The European Commission has responded to the “Stop Destroying Videogames” initiative and decided not to make new laws about games becoming unplayable after support ends. Apparently those sneaky meetings with Ubisoft CEO and other companies did their job. Instead, it
apparently, pirate software won
It's weird how the US and Europe are different here
Usually the EU eats up doing stuff like this
In the US, when something gets referred to a committee, that committee is staffed/run by our congressmen
In Europe though, they're fully independent
So the Parliament overwhelmingly asked for this, then the committee just decided not to
But the Parliament is powerless to make a new law unless the committee they formed tells them to
It's a weird system
I think the upside is because politicians are usually dogshit, a comitee that is entirely independent and does not have to worry about reelection/their sponsors in theory can do stuff that would usually not happen, but in this case, it kind of backfired
In trying to make it independent, they just made something that is arguably easier to corrupt
Buying politicians fully versus a paying off a one-time single issue comittee
The EU Parliament recommended that Stop Killing Games try some specific law to get their thing through as an enforcement action
To avoid this committee they formed that is clearly corrupt
Some Cube World Omega screenshots from today 🌳🌤️ #cubeworld #cubeworldomega
Why is he still working on cubeworld
also lmao at going past even a beta and reaching omega
I still an fascinated by the fact that cubeworld alpha was a viral hit, he disappeared for a long time, then released an objectively worse version that killed all hype for the game
Let it be known, I have only bought the alpha for 2 games in my life
cubeworld, and starbound
and both I think ruined their games
I no longer have access to my alpha copy (old laptop that imploded)
Not that I do not have the technical ability to pirate it again if I wanted to
Only files I made sure I saved from my last computer was my phijkchu ones
