Archipelago information and links:
What is Archipelago (AP): AP is a multi game randomizer designed for group randomizer events. What this means is you could randomize multiple games items among each other, so a star in Mario 64 in one person's game could be a key item in Ocarina of Time for another person. The official website has a limit of like 12 or so people, but technically for self hosted games you can have as many as you want (this server is never at risk of hitting the cap).
Below is a set of links and a very basic guide for the things you will need:
https://archipelago.gg/ - Main page for the website, this will have setup guides and links to various things. If you would rather not go through their guide, here are the relevant items:
https://github.com/ArchipelagoMW/Archipelago/releases The main software. You, as a player and not the person generating the roms, will only need this for the terminal that tells you when players get items (and let you get hints in your game)
https://github.com/black-sliver/PopTracker Poptracker is a multigame tracking software. It has built in AP support (so it will automatically update when you get items from the game). Just google poptracker game and you should probably find a github for your specific game
https://archipelago.gg/games - Official list of supported games. Anything on this list will be essentially feature complete as far as randomizers go.

Might have some issues, but 99% of the time we've not had issues with it. Because modern developers are awful, you need to join their discord to view these. Most of the good games are on this list, so its worth checking out.
