I can't remember previous forced refunds, that one scam game (The Day Before?) did universal refunds but you got to keep the game in your account
Concord doing forced refunds is kind of expected tbh, ~20k sales shouldn't be too hard logistically
but wtf do they salvage this into
lol
I wish
the game has nice assets (ignoring the characters) and they have 3 season of story cutscenes done
ok Max, hear me out
dating sim
they double down on their characters being 10/10
I say this a lot, the entire industry is going to crash
yeah, this probably reduces the over-the-top woke influence on stuff
but the number of AAA games flopping rn is unheard of
The new Star Wars Ubi game that came out this week also lost millions
development has gotten so slow imo
when you stretch out those staffing costs, from 2-3 years to 6+
I hate that everything is going UE5
"devs love to work with it"
No they fucking don't
bad devs like it
because it lets them lean on it as a crutch
UE5 is genuinely better for movie CGI
than it is for standard use for most game studios
The Game of Thrones dragon show uses UE5
It's the first major one to do it, and now suddenly all of Hollywood is picking it up
