The first time I played Minesweeper I must've been 5 or 6 years old

I had absolutely no idea that you were supposed to right click to place flags, so for ages(read as: from the first time I beat it to probably a month or two later), I never even placed flags, just left them all there

i do that to challenge myself sometimes

it's actually more fun to not place flags

And I don't think Minesweeper in Windows 9X automatically won the game for you if you didn't place flags, so I would have the board set up in a way I thought was done, then click a button, and if any of the spaces I didn't click weren't mines, that meant I lost, to me.
