for one: I wish this game had health bars, same as HK. For two: I've just run into the first optional boss that I'm giving up on. I have no idea how close I got to beating it, but it's awful to fight.
nvm I beat it. I gave up until I realized I got a mask shard for beating it and that was my last one to another mask

Also, I haven't used it really at all, but you can pogo off your own silk corpse. This means if you can kill yourself in tactical locations, you can make jumping puzzles easier.

I'm just assuming that the game is ~20 hours long for a first blind playthrough which makes me think they're backloading bosses, to reduce on repeat fights like the first game maybe

i guess i was confused about "act 1" and act 2 and so on, i was expecting a big "ACT II" screen like at the start of the game when it went ACT 1 on a black screen lol

oh gotcha, so when you said you hadn't entered act 2 today, you said that because you didn't remember seeing the screen, but you were already in it.

i guess i'll do some more wandering around later/tomorrow to see if i cant find some stuff i missed, get a different ending that i'm sure exists

there's a few boss fights in the game i think i'd dread fighting again if i ever did a new game from scratch, but i think most of them are really good imo.

its not as bad as the flower, since you can get hit and not fail instantly, but if you do get hit it makes the time limit really tight. you really can't afford to get hit more than once, though.
