I was fighting that pair of drill moths, and hit them a total of ~50 times, and was pretty sure I had missed something
especialy since I kept getting those NPCs showing up telling me to upgrade my needle

Replying to TinyBomby #tinybomby Seriously, it's not even just bosses. It's now normal enemies and even random hazards that are dealing 2 damage. It's really absurd.

it's tilting af when everything hits for 2 for no reason
I somewhat suspect they have big "don't spawn zones" for your cocoon
so it will take some trial and error for people speedrunning to find places they can abuse it
I'm just assuming that the game is ~20 hours long for a first blind playthrough
which makes me think they're backloading bosses, to reduce on repeat fights like the first game maybe
or the game is just way longer and they've paced like this the whole game
