i think the issue with ganking

whoever had the better junglers won

is that it feels really really bad/annoying when you get ganked

and it's very mild dopamine when you gank

the negative reaction of getting ganked is MASSIVE compared to just fucking up

towers are too weak imo, I like that you can tower dive in dota, but they took that too far in Deadlock

i think it makes the game less enjoyable which is why dota makes it harder and harder

there's no "safe" place early game

coupled with most characters having a "you die" ability

they can open a gank with

even the tp gates last patch in dota enabled ganking but it was still hard and obvious, so it was your fault that you didn't pay attention or your support didnt have vision

dota moved to making getting ganked a player fault, which i think is really really good

deadlock doesn't have that

ganking isn't your fault but just oh they decided to gank

Ok played some Deadlock cause my Dota keeps breaking. Laning is easier, you don't need to last hit a creep for soul to spawn, but souls are 50/50 split now for gain or deny. Ganking is still kinda fake early due to map size, but they buffed Sprint/move speed in general so maybe still good for some heros.

Idk if the game will shake up to be faster than 35 minutes, but it seems they wanted it to be more fighting/accessible

They nerfed the cute cowgirl tho so interest isn't that high to keep going
