i think the issue with ganking

whoever had the better junglers won

is that it feels really really bad/annoying when you get ganked

and it's very mild dopamine when you gank

the negative reaction of getting ganked is MASSIVE compared to just fucking up

towers are too weak imo, I like that you can tower dive in dota, but they took that too far in Deadlock

i think it makes the game less enjoyable which is why dota makes it harder and harder

there's no "safe" place early game

coupled with most characters having a "you die" ability

even the tp gates last patch in dota enabled ganking but it was still hard and obvious, so it was your fault that you didn't pay attention or your support didnt have vision

dota moved to making getting ganked a player fault, which i think is really really good

deadlock doesn't have that

ganking isn't your fault but just oh they decided to gank

i literally couldn't of known there's no wards

I do think in mobas, that "value" of a gank is also questionable, which makes it fun/interesting
