where every time you level up, you're strongly incentivised to rotate skills
i like grim dawns because its
spend a point to "upgrade" your class, unlocking the ability to buy new abilites
buying new abilites
upgrading your previous abilities
and everything scales perfectly so if you want to dump all your points into one ability, its viable and you can do the entire game with one really stronga ability, or spread them out and be equally as strong
+ multiclassing another skill tree
yeah that can work too
I'm fine if they give less discrete points, and instead evolve the nodes over time as you level
agreed
well, to a point
I don't like the modern dota point, where even passives have a paragraph long descriptor
overall, decent game(aside from the settings issues) I like playing an early 2000s Bioware RPG again,
imo probably the ideal game to release pre-Monster Hunter, because I can beat it in a week and move on
And then lose all my time to that at the end of the month
I think the two martial trees are lacking because they didn't have enough enviornmental modifiers in the world
no D:OS2 barrels everywhere, or bonus dmg when you charge an enemy off a cliff or into a wall
ranger/stealth is non-existant because they pivoted the game away from being a bethesda game
yep, they kept a very vanilla melee combat system
magic also doesn't really have a lot of that
and it begs the question, is that a design simplification or an engine thing
there's very little to the environment or "combat sandbox"
beyond very basic dmg sources
knockback wouldn't really matter, given how enemy tethering works
the dots and status effects are pretty basic too
yep
I think Microsoft wanted to streamline it, it's the perfect GamePass game in its current form
UE5
oh that
yeah idk
honest answer
no one's going to buy this game
it's a gamepass game
it's priced RETARDEDLY
so people will DL it to play for free, it'll barely work, and they'll quit after a couple hours
but it will be a success, because it'll have a high unique play-count
I don't like just blamin UE5 for everything btw
I know that's not the case fully
but I can't get over how poorly EU5 stuff runs
and that it all just gets shipped like that
