actually this just seems like simple puzzle and levels, i though tit was more like factorio/satisfactory where you slowly build out a massive system with all these features and then having to RP as a system integrations negineer and patch all of these systems into eachother, and have to handle the io resource gain/draw of all of them and proper transporting

And \_ simulator games
i.e. part of the idea I had where you need to code the entire production line of your turrets/protection robots, then their AI package for them to walk around and protect your base, maybe even needing some as gaurds, or having a power draw on them so they have to recharge every x amount of time so you have to program when they walk back, how they walk back, and making sure they dont start walking back to recharge before they get too low etc.

I tested it out, I think I've balanced it pretty good
I am not going to test mine, but I am sure mario 64 with move rando is not that bad
yeah, since no one here's done Hades before, and it's still in-dev I figured I'd test it, caught a couple things doing that which I changed
One of our test runs where I did mario 64 did teach me to not rando the secret areas into the stage pool
getting a stage in the metal cap entrance inside hazy maze cave was so fucking ass
I think my run is ~2 hours, total guess on my part though because there's 1 mandatory check and then technically I can beat the game if I get super lucky
I also didn't crank the difficulty too high, because then I think I would be too gated behind your checks
Yeah, mine is also a "I can just beat the game whevener I get a few total things" kind of game, so it should not be too bad
the default way Hades rando works is actually amazing in my eyes
you start out with all the difficulty modifiers cranked, so everything 1-shots you, and you're considerably weaker (even without the normal progression upgrades)
and then the checks are removing those
there are still the normal god totem things that empower you
