The west coast being basically desolate and shitty when all of obsidians games showed it had been largely settled

I was always under the impression that the only reason they screwed around so much was because they thought the nukings wouldn't happen

i dont even mind that they "started it", because lorewise many of the games do hint that everyone knew it was coming really really soon, even day before

but spooky is right tha tthe show is accurate for the direction bethesda wants to take the series

the isuse is that the direction they want to take the series is in a way that contradicts the core identity of what makes fallout good and engaging

as its approximations from a childs perspecrtive about the story and themes, a lack of media literacy that causes the theme to fly over their head

the BoS is even more of a character assassination

They're like a parody of evangelical christians

its also funny how we had three games worth of the BoS dying out on the west, going from power to slowly dying out and becoming irellevant, due to their inability to change, and most of the endings of NV tackle this exact problem

instead of coming back to this using the east coast chapter as a wayt to contrast and compare maybe a remanants tier of the west coast, and show the faltering of ideals of a split commnity hundreds of years later
