Replying to Polar_ #polar_ Yea, I remember it being sold as a way to get around F2P cheaters at the time. It's literally meaningless since burners are so easy to get/free. I think $ is the only real anti-cheat pay wall to some degree.

We watched a long video of someone walking through one of those
they're trippy
did it always play this slow
The few rounds I played, it was just way worse smash during the beta
the rebuit the whole engine for seemingly no reason
that's the part I didn't get
it looks worse, and looks like it plays worse
yep, and however they're doing their lighting/shadows makes everything look way worse
it's like the devs needed to justify staying employed for two years, when all WB wanted to do was relaunch the game after taking it down and trying to build hype again
