They are rarely needed (unless you have had a prior C-section)

You can do natural birth on your second still

3rd you absolutely need to do C section

also the profit thing is a nonissue since it was free here

it's also quicker and easier for doctors which is why they push it

it's a great procedure, but it definitely gets pushed on women in much higher frequencies than it should

I think about this a lot but from the opposite perspective. You are alive now despite having the cord around your neck, wrong way around, c-sectioned, and hernia. Someone wanted you to live, experience and see the world you can.

I think about this a lot whenever i have that "I wish I was dead/never born" feeling

I don’t go to church and I’m not super religious but something said you were going to live that day and you survived. Missed a final exam? You will survive, will it be difficult; yes. Was being able to live through your birth more difficult than this? I did an online class did half the work and skipped the final and made it out with a barely passing grade and the professor said I was lucky he didn’t fail me. Still went on to graduate. Affected my gpa sure but that is irrelevant once you start working.
