I really don't think one message on discord would make it so his work can legally be uploaded anywhere, and i'm pretty sure he still has ownership of his stuff even if it was uploaded on other platforms. It may be costly, but I really doubt Rob would lose a court case

This is the simple truth. Lawyers cost money. Even if Rob had a decent case, he'd need Spooky's details to sue him directly. I don't know how sending a C&D to a Peertube site would work since it's an open-source decentralized platform.

And then he'd need money to hire a lawyer, cuz no lawyer will do this pro bono.

There are ways to get spooky's info, courts can demand that the company he bought the domain from disclose his info for example I think

but all of it takes lawyers

Well, depending on if Spooky put it out in the open or if it was obtained malignantly or deceptively.

Even then, if Rob had access to all this, best case scenario, he gets the site shut down. He'd receive very little - if anything - in compensatory damages.
