Yup. I worked a factory job where I would take turns on an airgun putting nails into a wooden board. Literally, I did 1 nail, passed it off to the other guy, he did 1 nail, and he passed it back to me.
I also had something similar to this, except that I was hired as an engineer and they wanted me to have on the floor training, so they wanted me to work like this for months.

The position I had in my company before this one was really comfy. They would give me assignments that would take months to complete that I could get done within the day and I spent the rest of the time playing vidya and watching anime.

I enjoyed working at the navy because my boss always had work for me and I could just keep grinding away at cleaning up tasks. I got annoyed that no one else had that motivation, but my current job doesn't allow me to keep grinding away at new tasks and that is so much more soul-crushing.
