so, when you show up to your bail hearing, you don't actually need a lawyer to represent you, nor do you need one to work with the bail bondsman for you
if you can't afford one, you can have an appointment of council before then, and you might as well do it then

but most people (who don't have a lawyer/firm in their contacts already) will need to go out and price out what they can afford and what their defense direction is going to be, and that's not something thats super easy to figure out while in jail

and yeah, I think the whole internet was surprised by Guude getting implicated like this
you can always change lawyers later, but its actually a non-trivial amount of work and will cost you a couple thousand dollars
any lawyer you bring on will have to review everything that happens, and that is billable
so it basically just burning money
So typically you want to avoid hiring a lawyer you don't actually want just to switch

Was just thinking this, this must be so common with these types of charges
His life just is over regardless

10% , this is the tip of the iceburg, and Guude will kill himself
65% , Guude is guilty of the charges but not much beyond that, he will plea out and get 5 years + sex offender status for life
10% , Guude has a case and can convince Jess/family he is innocent, he will likely plea out for 1 year + sex offender status
15% , Guude is genuinely innocent and views his life as being over if he doesn't fight this and win in court

For that 3rd case, I think it doesn't really matter if he's actually guilty or not, just whether they could have a case
and the important bit would be keeping Jess + daughter on his side
which I think is exceedingly unlikely
Also he has a time limit since Labtec is getting in there

and maybe they've had underlying desires to private/remove stuff. This can be a blanket excuse, not saying it is in htis particular siutation

and I think that 2nd part was already known anyway
and (as a non-Mindcrack person) even I could tell Rob brought the wrong sorta energy to that whole thing

Guude being exonerated , but then in the process it being outed that he was talking to an underage fan and they have to apologize for the cp stuff but then cancel him a second time
that would be the funniest outcome
clearly Pika, if he proves his innocence, it's because he's THE Guude Boulderfist
and it's a problematic power dynamic between him and the jury
