So, my first mistake was being busy this week, and my second mistake was spending a few hours coding it myself before just having AI do it

(I resisted calling it Max mode btw)

only "feature" that differed from what I was doing initially is that Codex really wanted to keep in 'esc' being an exit for focus mode, and barring that wanted a pop-up button like you get for casting or PiP. I didn't like any of those so I had it do something a bit scuffed instead

but it seems to work with very minimal weirdness

the button essentially hides all contents on the current panel and then just minimally embeds the external player into the page

the button is also not actually in the iframe of the player so it won't break every time I take an update, it's just anchored on-top of it

Also, background play on-mobile works (FF/Brave/Safari), Google has just seemingly broken it for everyone using Chrome rn to protect YouTube background play being a paid feature

@Spooky Phijkchu there is a afterparty stream after one of the URL campaigns

i assume you definitely don't have it though

since I believe you don't have any streams that had any portionsa ctually uploaded to youtube

as in if rob ever uploaded it cut up you don't have the full thing

Being limited to my own perspective of the VCs was why I never did it on the old server

Like the urealms ones aren't that important since the stuff cut inbetween boils down to rob bitching at chat 90% of the time

and yes, I wish I had the original streams for Pokemon/DvZ/URL, because the inbetween 5% would be nice to preserve I opted to use the YouTube videos because I had 100% of those and it was consistent

because there was never a video

but since I was rushing to DL twitch vods before they were deleted, I was trying to prioritize getting the ones that didn't have YouTube at all

same reason PML is missing so much

i think all the early early DvZ stuff there was never really any rob videos and then the era like right after kickstarter campaign too

so there's a massive swathe of those that are just kinda perma gone

like the ones where it was treated entirely as a community game night thing

also, I forget why I stopped archiving the raw URL streams at some point

oh, I think it was because Rob disabled vods

and the way I was doing live capture back then was via Streamlink or w/e it was called

which was a scuffed VLC addon I had to manually babysit

becausea lot of peopel watched the vods

and vods were a middle ground

where

they didnt give ad revenue

and they didn't give any social media power/prescence

and you werent going to dontae because it wasnt live

he also moved the show between 3 channels back then

it was on coes channel

for most of season1

idr if he ever streamed it on his channel

but then he moved it to the urealms one

yep, then S2 he did the new channel which he embeded in his site

other than a few random ones he'd do on his main Twitch or on Coes

and then he moved to his main for S3

he also mostly streamed on Pause's channel for non-Urealms stuff during that era
