I've always valued archivist stuff. If I had to make stuff and leave it I'd want to hand the stuff down to someone or people that would ensure it lives longer to avoid being lost media

sun and moon were half decent. fun aesthetics and okay story. the ultra games were a ripoff so I never played em. Gen 8 and 9 are actual slop though

I stopped fucking with the player before, because I was never really happy with how you could modify the old player (playlists were the worst part when you expanded to theatre mode)

So, my first mistake was being busy this week, and my second mistake was spending a few hours coding it myself before just having AI do it

only "feature" that differed from what I was doing initially is that Codex really wanted to keep in 'esc' being an exit for focus mode, and barring that wanted a pop-up button like you get for casting or PiP. I didn't like any of those so I had it do something a bit scuffed instead

Also, background play on-mobile works (FF/Brave/Safari), Google has just seemingly broken it for everyone using Chrome rn to protect YouTube background play being a paid feature

but for every stream you have that's not uploaded because there's a youtube video there's a lot of inbetween stuff that only exists on them
