Morbid curiosity of where it goes next is how I would explain it for myself and likely most others who actively follow what Rob is up to here. Rob is a legitimately entertaining lolcow in a lot of ways, and goes through entire arcs. His current LoM arc is kind of heating up, but the last while he has been pretty borning

Pause introduced him to weed, and we suspect at some point he was doing harder stuff like coke
not sure if he is clean off the hard stuff, but he still fries his brain with weed
Rob did a fake DvZ revival 2 years ago before his current one with Pause
that fell apart after 2 episodes
Pause streams on twitch every once and awhile
as far as mindcrack people go, he is better off than most, worse of than the ones that actually survived to modern day

if this update is the one Rob said he'd get out yesterday, a while
if this is not the update Rob was doing (in which case, what the fuck Rob, thats the one feature you need to get out), then idk
So LoM 2 is not like LoM 1.
Idk how familiar with LoM 1 you were, but 2 is a grindfest game where it takes multiple days of afk grinding to afford a cheap plot, let alone a good one.
for context, it took 5 of us, with stealing (he had to patch stealing because of how much we stole from afk farmers), 5 hours to get the second cheapest plot at launch
there is a skill system in the game where as you do actions you level up skills. There is supposed to be a point to this, as you can spend skill points to upgrade abilities (minor things, or even major things like grinding efficiency)
this ability system is not implemented
making the entire point of LoM 2 atm endless grinding with nothing to claim for it

Anyways, the current meme is that he keeps saying the update is close, it is 80% done, it will come this weekend, etc for the last month
and keeps canceling streams to work on it
most recently, the update was supposed to be out yesterday at noon (it was not out, and there was no comment about it posted)
Rob is incredibly lazy, and also incredibly inefficient. 1 hour of work takes him 10 hours of work, and he just does not want to do any work period anyways
I disagree with the last sentiment. Rob genuinely was pretty funny
he gave up on being funny at some point which is why his content is complete ass now
we rewatched the first 10? episodes of the unforgotten realms cartoon, and that holds up pretty well
I cannot be assed to rewatch Rob considering how he ended up, but I will not claim his past content was not good
Rob lapsed on paying for the domain so it went down
