As a rule of thumb, "does X work with/ does X like Rob" is always no
Nisovin seems to want nothing to do with his past work with Rob. We've caught him on a programing discord and whenever someone asks if he is the nisovin from DvZ, he says yes but then does not engage in conversation about that stuff

Roman is probably still "friends" with Rob, but they do not do online things together anymore

Nisovin and deadbones seem to want nothing to do with Rob
other adjacent people like the mindcrack people have not really interacted with him in over a year
Rob essentially made a new friend group over the last few years, and then imploded it last year
all of his new friendgroup hate him barring the 3 I listed above
danidip is his programing guy (think modern day nisovin) who replaced noojuno (who also left Rob and is based because he is in this server)

momo is a minecraft gamedev for Rob

I mean, long term working with Rob is destined to collapse. You need to be aware of what Rob is and has always been. Noojuno just wanted to work on the DvZ remake (this is not what Rob has been streaming, Rob is streaming minecraft rp and calling it DvZ)

Morbid curiosity of where it goes next is how I would explain it for myself and likely most others who actively follow what Rob is up to here. Rob is a legitimately entertaining lolcow in a lot of ways, and goes through entire arcs. His current LoM arc is kind of heating up, but the last while he has been pretty borning

So LoM 2 is not like LoM 1.
Idk how familiar with LoM 1 you were, but 2 is a grindfest game where it takes multiple days of afk grinding to afford a cheap plot, let alone a good one.
for context, it took 5 of us, with stealing (he had to patch stealing because of how much we stole from afk farmers), 5 hours to get the second cheapest plot at launch
there is a skill system in the game where as you do actions you level up skills. There is supposed to be a point to this, as you can spend skill points to upgrade abilities (minor things, or even major things like grinding efficiency)
this ability system is not implemented
making the entire point of LoM 2 atm endless grinding with nothing to claim for it
