Parents are lazy so their kids are lazy

I’ve heard multiple cases where parents actual told their kid they are going to live off welfare and that will be their living
sometimes for certain special needs students it is more detrimental to them to put them outside of the gen pop of a school classroom.
Just like some need that special classroom for teaching but then you have have 100 buildings dedicated to one disability and would waste more resources and bigger strain.
How many kids did you know that actively antagonized someone they knew with a disability to set them off in school? I can name a few from my school years, and know every class has those people who make it worse for those kids and makes them get more estranged.
I'm not sure we really disagree, I've observed the same thing on all accounts
I just fundamentally do not care to give everyone an "equal shot" and don't think federal/state laws should in any way protect that false virtue
because an equal shot in education is not just sitting them in a seat and telling them to learn
it's providing the necessary resources for them to succeede, across years
Spooky, what about people who cannot sit
then they cannot have an equal shot
The founding fathers knew some people were slow and still make it a right that they have an equal shot to have an education
and when the systems start to buckle, and hold back the top 85%, dragging down the middle most of all
yes, cut the bottom
yep, they were called slaves
They only drag down the others if they let them
if we want to enlist the bottom 15% into chattel slavery, that's a little more radical than I was thinking
but I'd be down
Some Non-slaves were less educated than some slaves it all depended on the individual who oversaw them and or guided them
yes, tons of slaves were fairly educated
not formally educated
Tons of Americans were educated and not formally educated
it turns out, you don't need a formal education to do manual labor (or even a lot of skilled labor)
no shit
public education wasn't a thing until the 1900s
And that was made to stop the growing illiteracy and uneducated population of America across all walks of life
The children and fathers working in the industrial factories we just needed to write off if they had a school?
if they were disruptive and dragged everyone else down
1000%
they don't get to be retarded and ruin things for everyone else
I'm not saying to cull dumb people
I'm saying to cull problem children when multiple attempts have been made to fix them
I don't know a single teacher who couldn't pick the worthless children in their class out of a lineup
same with the gifted ones
it's TRIVIAL to tell
Yes the worthless to them they can pick out. From someone outside they wouldn’t be able to tell the difference
put them all together in their own parallel structure
and hey, if 1 in 1,000 manage to make something of themselves, great
we don't literally need to kill them
even if I'd be in favor of it
You said to have a pre-prison system for them
that's the pre-prison system
You are setting people up to fail
is the alternative pretending to be surprised when they do fail?
no really
what value is there in playing pretend
that "everyone can make it"
When you can dictate who makes someone a delinquent or someone retarded then you are just the same problem in the school system in a different mask
again, we don't have to literally kill them
if they are enabled to fuck off for 18 years in school, but clean themselves up and want to greet people at Walmart
go ahead
but don't kid yourself, most won't
I think fundementally, there is just a percentage of people who are going to be failures. I think having some straight to the farm below minimum wage job pipeline set up for them will make things easier for them and us
Hell, we can do a 3 tier system
normal school, inbetween, and pipeline to prison
and I think the longer you pretend and commit outsized amounts of resources towards them, the greater a disservice it is to the actual kids trying to learn
See you just said when they are enabled to be fuck ups, who is enabling them
and the in between is where you get kicked down to with a chance to climb back up
and agreed Pika
I want to make it hard to wash out
in between system can and should be just as good education wise as the main system too
its just a "oh shit I fucked up let me fix this" chance
and I don't care how dumb you are, enough effort will get you through in 99% of cases
unless you're genuinely retarded
You are just bringing back a feudal system, only the smart can attend here and we think your not capeable of higher learning so you stay in this section
Its not even smart
its "able to function without fighting and disrupting"
>the fuedal system where 85% of people are in the landed class
un huh
You deny the ability of people to move and challenge themselves to become better
You can be an F tier student in the main school system
Idk about prison school, but I do think there is no point of having genuinely retarded people in the school, even if they are in a special ed class. Especially because the school system will take people who function at a 6 year old level and try to integrate them in to normal classes.
if you get into a lot of disruptive altrications, you get kicked down to the middle school as a warning to wisen up
if you are so far gone the message does not stick
pipeline
Replying to (Not Spooky) Spark Dragon #sparkdragoon You deny the ability of people to move and challenge themselves to become better
if you've ever tried to challenge yourself
congrats, you're not in the 15%
I really think it's pretty fucking obvious
who is participating, and who is a nuisance
remove the nuisances
simple
