A lot of people build up calc to be more than it is too
I feel like by geometry in 7th/8th grade a lot of people are stumbling into it anyway
And just don't label it as calc
I think introducing differentiation and integration as psuedo-operands before proving them with limits and formal logic, builds a stronger foundation as well
Our HS stats class was also retard math
But actual stats is SUPER useful
And one of the only places you get to learn a lot of math that's more broadly useful
My radical way to fix education is to not just make it daycare like it is now
