what did Destiny actually get banned for this time?
I assume it's not related to the current lawsuit against him related to underage prostitution and revenge porn (that he's going to lose)
I am pretty sure he was not banned again and was just reposting his old ban email
he was on a strict "never unban" list on twitch or something
oops, yeah I saw that while driving and just assumed it was new
I think most major news agencies just sent reporters everywhere

What will get Discord in trouble is that whenever they are asked for SPECIFIC logs, they either fail to turn them over in full or have spotty records
No US social media site/app actively spies on its users for the government, all of their data harvesting is for-profit
Any actual spying is usually done via countries that have agreements to mutually spy on eachother
It's why Skype was one of the most trusted ways for terrorists to organize, pre-telegram
Discord can also solve this by implementing e2e encryption
They won't because it would be unprofitable not to be able to sell user data as easily
I wish every other service that was like discord was not dogshit, and anything that is not dogshit is not built to purpose like discord is

I don't like it nearly as much as I like discord functionality wise, but it is probably a better alternative than many
