What will get Discord in trouble is that whenever they are asked for SPECIFIC logs, they either fail to turn them over in full or have spotty records
No US social media site/app actively spies on its users for the government, all of their data harvesting is for-profit
Any actual spying is usually done via countries that have agreements to mutually spy on eachother
It's why Skype was one of the most trusted ways for terrorists to organize, pre-telegram
Discord can also solve this by implementing e2e encryption
They won't because it would be unprofitable not to be able to sell user data as easily
I wish every other service that was like discord was not dogshit, and anything that is not dogshit is not built to purpose like discord is
