What will get Discord in trouble is that whenever they are asked for SPECIFIC logs, they either fail to turn them over in full or have spotty records
No US social media site/app actively spies on its users for the government, all of their data harvesting is for-profit
Any actual spying is usually done via countries that have agreements to mutually spy on eachother
It's why Skype was one of the most trusted ways for terrorists to organize, pre-telegram
Discord can also solve this by implementing e2e encryption
They won't because it would be unprofitable not to be able to sell user data as easily
I wish every other service that was like discord was not dogshit, and anything that is not dogshit is not built to purpose like discord is

I don't like it nearly as much as I like discord functionality wise, but it is probably a better alternative than many

Like yea the kids clearly left leaning, but the comment is about how maga media is portraying the shooter with minimal details. Obviously every detail that does come out makes the statement worse. But calling it a blatant lie is a little exaggerated.

The kirk shooter was some insane skitzo (you need to be to be groomed on discord by a tranny to the point where you'd shoot someone). Next time its a right wing shooter it will likely also just be a skitzo but it will be sold as "this is an attack by the right" just as this is being sold as "this is an attack by the left"

Kirk's death was politically benificial for the right, it is being used for that, it makes sense to use it for that
