NEW: President-elect Trump has accepted an invitation to have lunch with President Biden "very shortly"
fxtwitter.com1 pic of them playing golf
please
One of my favorite quotes is the famous one by President Buchanan
As Buchanan rode in a carriage with Abraham Lincoln to Lincoln's inauguration, Buchanan is said to have remarked, “My dear sir, if you are as happy in entering the White House as I shall feel on returning to Wheatland, you are a happy man indeed.” Biden gives off that energy 100%
it's a full time job for 1 person
I think Biden was the first to have a whole rainbow squad of press secs that would rotate
I do think it's normal to rotate a press sec after ~1 year
because it's an absurdly demanding position
If Trump wanted to throw Alex Jones a bone, he could invite him in to give transition briefings for the next 2 months
much lower commitment, and wouldn't require him to get in deep with the actual press team
imo, revamping the whole press briefing process would be warrented
it's a relic of a different time, and gives a LOT of influence to tenured legacy media
when it originally was supposed to be a vector to ask the president questions, via a proxy
and get updates on policy intentions
Leg, I'm FULLY on-board with a federal channel to that effect
but I think thats too big an undertaking realistically
If Trump still had one of this TrumpTV/TrumpNetwork friends he wanted to task with doing that
it would be amazing
but it's just way too big of a side task imo
Replying to legorhin #jazardly did women go Trump overall or was it just suburban white women?
This is from CNN's exit polling data, which was conducted by Edison Research on behalf of the National Election Pool

Anatomy of three Trump elections: How Americans voted in 2024 vs. 2...
CNN's exit poll results reveal a divided country.
www.cnn.comSo Women overall still voted democrat, but the margin closed significantly due to kamala being incredibly unpopular
the worm inside RFK ate them all
Replying to Spooky Phijkchu #spooky.131 and Trump will probably throw them that bone
the new Rogan episode actually touches on Snowden
The 20 million votes went to low turnout driven by unlikeable candidate (Harris) and people not being as mad about trump (4 years removed from him being in office) so it did not drive vote totals up
trump had lower turnout too, but was less affected because two assassination attempts is pretty good for galvanizing your base to go vote
People were really mad about trump, and people blame the active president for things when they happen (covid) even if not reasonable
Replying to Phijkchu_Pikachu #klombak trump had lower turnout too, but was less affected because two assassination attempts is pretty good for galvanizing your base to go vote (edited)
I'm not trying to lol factcheck you
but Trump got more votes than 2020
Actually?
yeah
I thought he had 2 mill less
nevermind then
I still think my analysis stands
they keep counting is why
his voterbase was not affected by apathy
on election night it was a little below, but it's been climbing up
Okay, yeah that makes sense. I really have not been keeping up other than election night stuff
is it much higher than his 2020 totals?
I think that tracks then, he did not lose any voters to apathy, harris lost a ton
it also depends on California's final count
which might have just said fuck it and gave up counting
So, I think a lot of it is, because mail in voting was basically completely allowed no holds bared for the most part, more people voted than usual
in 2020, they force mailed ballots to everyone
