So Women overall still voted democrat, but the margin closed significantly due to kamala being incredibly unpopular

The 20 million votes went to low turnout driven by unlikeable candidate (Harris) and people not being as mad about trump (4 years removed from him being in office) so it did not drive vote totals up
trump had lower turnout too, but was less affected because two assassination attempts is pretty good for galvanizing your base to go vote
