I have found cooking fun which is why I have been making them
I agree it is not worth the effort

I've done scrambled a few times, and that was okay, but smooth food is still bad

boiled eggs aren't hard, but if you have an unevenly heating pan/stove it can fuck things up sometimes
poached eggs you can't fuck up though
I'll try some egg dishes later. I was planning on baking some stuff before I go back home for the holidays, and there is no way I will need a full carton of eggs for how much I am baking

Cook thing, check it occasionally to see if it needs more time cooking or if it needs to come out
