So i ride an elevator my 6th floor everyday and im not usually by myself because my building is pretty occupied, but when i am, The elavator saftey notice sheet, is behind a piece of plexiglass, that is held in by 4 screws, i keep removing the screws to the point where you can slide the plexiglass up a bit, and take the paper out, and all i do is flip it upside down and put it back in, and leave 1 screw in, and im sure my building people absolutely hate me (i know they do, because they replace the screws quite often) and to answer your question in advance i dont know what posses me to do this, i just think its funny that they probably think its one of the old disabled people doing it

when the screws get replaced, i only take out the first two on one trip, then the third and fourth on a second trip, and if i have time i flip the paper on the second trip aswell

that can be hard to do so, i sometimes will wait until a third trip to take out the last screw, flip it, and replace the last screw loosely

I'm scared of mirrors at night, I don't know why, I always put a tarp over them before I go to sleep if they're in the same room as me.

My belief is that, as a kid, I read the Dresden Files really early on, and he was scared of mirrors because the fae could watch him (I think) and so being a cool kid, I wanted to be scared of them too. That's my honest thought as to why I don't like them

no answer for sitting on the railing if they have one, or leaning against the wall and not moving.. also i have seen thumbtack boards wau more often than whiteboards. people throwing business cards or ik one case at my sisters place whem sje lived above a mall, people kept writing the floor passwords on them. defeats the whole point of the paswords, they had to keep changing them because of that

This is a nebulous "it is gaurenteed to happen"

but you're saying an event is described to be. This means someone is describing it to me

Because the person isnt themselves guaranteeing that it will happen, I will have to assume a higher power will.

I think fundamentally the point is that in order to engage with the poll, you must assume the premise that the poll will occur as written

If someone tells me in the imperative mood that it's guaranteed, I wouldn't believe it, but if the thing is guaranteed in the indicative mood, then yes.

Like, if we're talking about the definition of the word "guarantee" then yes, I agree that that means something inherently will happen.
