I wanted to do it at the start of December but the weather was so bad with storms I was stuck in Taupo waiting for it to clear but had to move on since I’m on a tight schedule
Kribbles general
I hiked the Tararuas, took a train over to Masterton and walked 10 miles to the trailhead and then proceeded to get fucked over by weather for three days and I couldn't summit Mitre peak.
Purple Guy general
Ahh nice yeah I think I probably should’ve just focused on one instead of squeezing things in. Missed out Taranaki and Tongoriro which were the only things I really wanted to do there. South Island is going better tho nothing gone wrong yet

I don't know what to do in the southern island since I didn't look anything up at all from there, expect I am told the Milford pass or hike or trek idk is like suuuuper pretty, but you need to book out way far in advance

If you had more than 2 eyes, how many could you close and have it be classified as winking.

  1. You cannot by definition wink.0 votes · 0%
  2. Exactly half of your eyes.8 votes · 36%
  3. Any number of eyes less than the total amount.1 vote · 5%
  4. Still just one open.0 votes · 0%
  5. Only one closed.13 votes · 59%

I think that for it to be a wink, there needs to be a current subset of two eyes that are able to catch the focus of an observer, and then one of them needs to close
reorruatrnte general
but yeah I think that for a wink to happen, you need to meet these conditions: -Need to be a set of two eyes that can gain focus and trigger the "these are human eyes" response -# (alternatively, any set of arrangements that can trigger that response, like a 👁️👁️👃 👁️👁️ type thing. ) -One eye, or one eye representative needs to fully close and then anything that happens to the eyes outside of that subset don't matter. they can do whatever. it doesn't change anything

I am glad the poll is so split. Now that I am home, I agree that 3 of the answers do not make much sense, but I wanted to include edge cases in case someone happened to agree with them
