Also because Spooky will find this amusing, the picketers decided, I guess, to go outside the big first year psychology exam with megaphones to try to disrupt that so that, so now undergrads are pissed

less about the individual instance today, and more generally about the entire semester

I know plenty of people, who had that happen, and essentially had to ask "is it worth even continuing this semester or at this school at all" when you're looking at a bunch of admin changes or never-ending strikes

my undergrad didn't have one while I was there, but then covid happened right after, and since then I feel like I've not heard from anyone who has had a full 4-5 year college experience without losing at least 1-2 semesters, sometimes more

I think it really stresses people out, you pick this school, you put a lot of yourself into it, into your coursework and your classes the school becomes part of your identity while you're there and then you hit a snag where they institution itself fucks you over, and you just have to take it

they are protesting out from of the buildings the majority of students use, they have not come far enough down the main road of campus to get to the singular math building

if it drags into the fall, I legitimately will have to talk to my supervisor about just not doing classes in the fall, moving back to Kitchener and working from home lol
