that's a good point, I'm quick to forget that
I'm sure they could remotely kill the license tied to the disc too
microsoft does indeed follow playstation and offers refunds

Its on steam, thats always refundable under steam rules
which is already pretty reasonable for all games
yeah but 2 hours is pretty reasonable
you'll know within 2 hours if you can't run the damn thing
plus Steam is pretty loose on the 2 hour rule anyway

I haven't completed the entire demo yet, they give you 7 ages to climb through or something like that
but I think I'm on 4/7
it definitely scratches that civilization itch
I'm not sure I'm sold on how they're doing combat
I like the concept a lot more than how it actually plays out
but then again, combat was always the weakest part of Civ games, even after they got rid of deathstacking
similar, but in Endless Legends I feel like it worked better
There's also the normal learning curve, made some dumb mistakes the first couple times playing
since I didn't understand some of the choices being presented
I also think I preferred Civ 6's diplomacy
though I need a chance to try out some later-age economic deals
I'm assuming it opens up more
I'm not the biggest Civ fan in the world either, so take all of my opinions with a grain of salt. I put a hundreds of hours into 4, but only 50-100 split between 5, BE, and 6
I want someone to do something new in the turn-based realm
nothing against Civ, but I really don't need a thousand re-skinned civ games
some of the indie stuff is neat, but has glaring flaws or just lack a playerbase to be fun
I've been playing more of Dominions 5 recently, and man, that has to be the most flawed yet ambitious strategy game out there
I want to like that game but uh.. yeah
if 76 went F2P
76 is still bad
I think people would have given it a bit of a pass
I think from what I heard no man sky was just super dissapointing compared to what they were told
it was not 76 or cyberpunk tier
No Mans Sky had nothing to do on launch
76 is B A D
Cyberpunk runs bad, and is actually unplayable on console
Considering some of cyberpunk somewhat works
aka pcs
it is better than 76
