I like this game, but it is objectively bad. I've talked in vc with spooky about this, but to extoll my exact thoughts on the matter, the gameplay mechanic is good (minus the fact that I think the power strike move is not good. It could be good, but you'd have to design the game around it more, which this game is not. What holds this game back is twofold, 1. It should not be a streamer bait rage game. I think you could make a really satisfying more traditional platformer with the movement tech this game has. The fact that it is designed around specifically resetting your progress (even on easy mode which has checkpoints) makes it less good, especially because of point 2. the dev is really bad at level design. There are a lot of parts of the game where the intended path is stupid, and he usually makes an easy and a hard branching path, its clear which he intends to be which, but the hard path is objectively the easier path to take so you never take the easier but slower path
