you can tell some people making it cared, but it's WAY WAY worse than the fanmod that got shutdown
I was gonna say, I saw a lot of people saying "oh they lost the files actually" when thats extremely retarded since there were multiple attempts at a fan mod server

I understand the the idea that just capturing a snapshot of a patch would be kind of boring for some people. So I think the mish-mash of "strongest kit" for each champion is an ok idea. Im glad its everything Pre-Yasuo at least.
I disagree completely, there's no reason not to revert to original kits 1:1

adding modern "fan-favorite" champs is dumb, but if you're going to do it, make them custom
They are not adding anything from Yas onwards so nothing from post 2013 iirc

I thought Yasuo was cool. It was definitely a, like, semi-complex character like Pangolier that I had to study a lil bit to understand wtf he does

I also understand that at least in these early seasons there were like 3 versions of Ryze and 2 versions of Kat, and some of those iterations suck

Idk, I would've preferred a true snapshot. I keep seeing peolle say shit like "ugh why would you wanna play the old game, its old like it's not as good" and i find that retarded

that was the orignal plan Polar, but now they said this "Classic preview" only goes for ~100 days
I mean, you can literally buy votes for the mode. After saying only players who are activley playing would gain votes

Afaik, they shoot down most stuff with sailing being the sole exception, but I have never been that into OSRS. I get bored too quickly

@everyoneHarbour Masters Port of Banjo Kazooie, Lighthouse, ReleasedAttention Jiggy fans! That's right, the day is finally upon us: Lighthouse, the Harbour Masters port of Banjo Kazooie, is now available! I know I'm cutting it close, but I hope you'll agree it was worth the wait. Key Points
  • Vanilla is 100% completable.
  • - Note and Jinjo retention are in, but disabled by default. However, the processes run in the background anyway, so retention is toggleable at any time.
  • Comes with the standard high-res and interpolation enhancements, as well as many initial BK-specific ones for you to discover!
  • This also includes the first use of the built-in gamepad mapper! Ever had a controller not be recognized by the game, or be not fully working or improperly mapped? Well, you can fix that yourself now, and right within the game.
  • - This process creates a custom mapping file that doesn't get overwritten with subsequent game updates, and when this gets implemented in other ports, the custom mapping file will be compatible with just copy-pasting it into those ports folders. ## Anchor
Anchor co-op with vanilla is fully completable, though obviously not everything could be tested.
  • In addition to Mr Vile previewed in the trailer, the final Grunty fight is also fully synced.
  • No minigames or bosses, other than those two, are synced. Yet.
  • Breakables (MMM gates and windows) and puzzle steps (BGS Croctus, TTC treasure hunt), and many more small things are all fully synced and live-react.
  • As with other games, room setting retention is a thing, however, if you want to keep the same room, all you need to do is hover over the slot you want to load in file select and click Clear All Team States in the Anchor menu before loading the save. ## Randomizer
Version 1.0 of randomizer is already included. Right now, that includes shuffling all empty honeycombs, notes, jinjos and jiggies amongst each other, as well as the molehills/moves among themselves.
  • Rando co-op works, but currently requires making a seed, saving and quitting to create a save file, then sharing that file with people. ## Romhacks
As teased, we do have romhack support. Not every supported hack has been fully tested, so there may be some issues, but we're pretty confident in the ones that don't add any custom code.
  • You'll have to make a pre-patched ROM for each romhack you want to use, which you can then extract using the Romhacks menu. As such, as mentioned in the preview channel, it will still require having a US 1.0 ROM to play them. ## Thanks
Special thanks to the decomp and recomp teams, who have helped a lot with our understanding of various parts of the codebase for this. ChannelsLighthouse now has its own downloads and support channels and category for everything else, so make sure to enable them in your Discord settings. https://discord.com/channels/808039310850130000/1528848457551314975 With that all said... ## LET'S GET JIGGY WITH IT!
