Cont. Act 4 (2-3 hours): I'm not sure why this was its own act, re-introduces some stuff from Act 1 and was probably initially when the game was supposed to unlock fast travel, before they realized that doing that 20-30 hours in would be insane Act 5 (10-15 hours): Narratively, this is "Act 2" since it kicks off the actual story, also the point in the game where you're expected to understand the meta/world mechanics (edited)
Cont. Act 6 (10 hours): Uno-reversing the Holocaust Act 7 (10 hours): A completely unrelated, additional Holocaust

idk if it's better or worse mechanically, there were more mechanics but it felt broadly the same and they still sorta ignored the whole "legacy" part of the original concept, just like 1 did

Rogue Legacy 2 has a bunch of different classes that have different weapons and actually play differently compared to 1 where everyone has a sword. Yes, 1 has different classes, but they don't feel that different from one another really.

Rogue Legacy 2's story is very weird. Like, I'm not gonna say it doesn't make sense because I do understand it, but it is very convoluted and hard to follow.

there were still only a couple classes that were actually different though, most abilities and weapons were pretty minor maybe if you played at a high level it mattered more, but clearing areas played mostly the same

I've been slowly getting through Castlevania: Order of Ecclesia. I hate how grindy all the Castlevanias (I've played) can get. This one in particular is egregious with literal MMO quest design. "Go kill 30 crows for me, thank you."

All these games are distracting myself from finishing spyro 3, because I fucking hate it
Spyro 3 is literally my childhood. No idea why we owned only that one. My dad always thought it was the first game for some reason, so I thought the same until I looked into it.

Tiny, to describe spyro, 1 is pretty good with solid level design, 2 has worse level design and adds too many things that take away from the experience of 1, and 3 is 2 but level design flips from worse to just outright bad
