seriously though, the planning required for an LTC feels absurd. I assume he has everything planned out backwards, so it's essentially already done. It was a bit weird how he baited for engagement as well saying like, "hmm, where should celerity/boots go? Let me know in the comments where you think I should put them"

I believe it's planned out like most challenge runs

instead of worrying about every map at first/working backwards

you just think about the ones that will be absolute 100% big challenges

kinda like how in a normal run of conquest people plan around building a takumi killer

A lot of maps there are solutions that work for most stuff that are LTC. It's more so making sure your solutions line up with the trouble maps that you 100% need extra benchmarks on

like if you listen to him talk about benchmarks sometimes the benchmarks are setup for multiple maps ahead

or are considered long term

ive done the map legit on lunatic

I got filtered by the last map. Mostly because I couldn't be bothered to do two maps in a row over and over until I figured out how it worked.

So I just ended up sacking like 2 units to kill Takumi.

building a takumi killer is fun

but i dont like it

i rather do it legit

building the takumi killer just makes it safer--since if you mess up the map you have to do 27 again

that is the worst part

i dont understand why they did that

i mean i guess its supposed to be cool like back to back maps no more preps but like

the issue is

theres a mod that lets you save there and has zero issues/problems

but i guess the problem is

you can softlock yourself

if too many units die

i feel like theres not too many games you can actually softlock thinking about it

so the logistics there make sense

you have to do back to back

that valla also knows about

and valla itself may or may not be its own hyperspace bubble

y'know, I think rev especially would have benefitted from a RD/TRS army split. It is a really fun mechanic in those games.

give you a reason to use more of the units in rev too since it's so bloated.
