Replying to Dialga #god_of_time i have a few criticism of silksong but i do think i enjoyed it a little more than i did hollow knight overall.
I'm surprised that you enjoyed it more than HK. I haven't finished Silksong yet, and it's been many years since I touched HK, but I don't remember getting nearly as frustrated ay anything non-pantheon in HK.
Mind you, I still have been enjoyed Silksong quite a bit, but HK feels like the better designed game overall.
I think the HK bosses are also just way better overall, there are a couple I like in Silksong, but tbh the basic ones tend to be the most fun and a lot of the creative boss mechanics are just reworked versions of stuff from the first game
uh... you favorite bosses were also the basic ones
from what you listed
sorry, when I say basic
I mean duel style fights, rather than "wail on this big beast for 5 minutes as it thrashes around" fights
yeah sure
idk what word to use
and imo first sinner is def in the category of good duels
same as the fencing bitch
was that the one underground in the wine cellar?
Widow, clockwork cancers, and tobbio are all fun but easy
@Garbage what do we call this perspective

and can we blame Octopath
yeah, I don't think I've ever seen it before like this either
let's call it native Minecraft spooky
I've seen people memeing on the double DMG thing a lot
It's so stupid
Feels so unnecessary
I doubt that
first game added some vendors to let you sell your death-related mats, since they wouldn't work
ok, that's weird from both angles
so it is an NPC who did replace a death mat, but they gave it a unique fetch quest which rewards an item that gives periodic free shards
