I tried it for ~10 minutes
and ran into so much stuff
I will say, this game has way more areas you can get to by bouncing off mobs
the first game had a few
but it feels psuedo-intended here
will make speedruns a bitch though
because lining them up is a lot of luck
wanderer = hunter > reaper >>>>>>>>beast
I think I like the was wander feels the most
but hunter's is the most thematic
reaper is good, I just like the other too slightly more
Tiny lucked out that we finished sengoku rance just in time for him to play this lol
the corpserun to (wht I assume is) the act 1 boss is terrible
So far, is this game of the year, 100 years of wait were worth it?

got locked into a different rpg series
it feels less impressive than the first game did at the time, but I think it's been more creative so far and I think the theming they did for areas is weirdly better
on the surface they're "more generic" than the 1st game's areas, but they are less trying to be unified thematicly, which I think ends up flipping it around to me liking them
gamemaker is also STRUGGLING at points
anything with exposions or a lot of stage hazards
I also have mixed praise for their level design
at times it's excelent
but I would have thought they'd correct some of the issues with the 1st game layouts,, and they've sort of just not
Replying to TinyBomby #tinybomby there's some times where the lighting is low and you just have to blind fall, but there's a pit of spikes below you. I guess I need to slowly hover down EVERY pit I see and prepare for spikes, but it gets annoying having to be to careful.
at least spikes don't instakill unlike Heretic
also someone spoil, did I miss somewhere to upgrade my nail in act 1?
