I gaven't found any red spikes in greymoor

I don't recall seeing any there either

I'm stuck on the enemy waves room to the right of the entrance

I went left instead...

I went through the entirety of Greymoore without the map haha

I thought this room would have been where you got your first crest

I only just now went back and got it, and beat the enemies in that wave room, but I did multiple areas to the left first

I don't know the reward

I keep dying to those waves doing 90% of damage to myself

btw, I feel like I'm fairly progressed in this game, but I only have 1 mask shard still

I have two and can buy the shop one once I have three

also still at 1

I haven't bought the shop one

I think Dialga's only a little further than I am, judging by Steam achievements

so it's between you and Leg for who's furthest

i'm probably the least far

I'm about 3 areas passed greymoor

i just fully explore every area as best as possible so I guess i found an extra mask shard somewhere

I try, but I suck at exploring

i never killed the pink bug boss next to the marrow though

I'm going back for that right now actually hahaa

mimic benches are bullying

This game really is just EVERY boss deals 2 damage to you. I'm not sure why they did that.

Uh based on what i'm seeing here i am a fair bit ahead yeah

as far as crests go, i got one i like more than the default one but i dont remember which spot i got it at

crest of the beast is insane.......

i have gotten a 6th mask, lot of good it does, since everything does 2 damage bosses still kill in 3 hits

also 2 more mask shards

oh my gosh for an area I just entered, minor spoiler naked Hornet...

that happens briefly in deep docks

legit the area I just entered I think makes me like this game significantly less

The hornet panty shots when you get a cloak upgrade are also funny

I finally cleared that stupid bird fight room and once it was cleared I had to swap to wanderer crest to have any hope of navigating that area

I also competed the first(?) flea quest

doing that fight without dash sounds awful

its unhinged that the bosses dont drop beads

I have no idea how you are supposed to beat wave 5 of the battle room after the pink boss

the other 4 waves are really easy

just beat the fourth chorus while standing up because im a retard and forgot I could pause the game lol

still no rewards for beating the boss though

savage beastfly is some bullshit because its random ads can easily make inescapable situations

this or the bird room are the worst part of the game by far so far

It becomes not a coin pusher game but an ability spam game really fast, so it loses its purpose

Seriously, it's not even just bosses. It's now normal enemies and even random hazards that are dealing 2 damage. It's really absurd.

the first game had a lot of 2x dmg stuff, but they were a lot more liberal with masks

I've gotten one extra mask so far

it is weird how 90% of bosses default to that though

the only one I don't think did (and also a fight I really liked) was Widow

Also I stand by that the sharp stones are incredibly dumb. I'm spending around 100 each boss attempt, so if I attempt a boss 6 times, I'm out. Fortunately, that's yet to happen because I'm good at the game, but it's infuriating that I have to consider not using my tools to preserve for other attempts.

The resource economy is weird

I like aspects of it

but it definitely feels like a symptom of a game that was multiple things at different points

not to give them a pass, because I do think the way tools work is legit bad game design

tools worked fine for specifically the hunter area fight room corpse run because you replenished shards on the way

Ok, found something actually broken. There's an arena fight where there's platforms that rise and fall as you beat each wave. I killed the last enemy of a wave and fell into the spikes and I killed it, took damage from the spikes, and then the platform fell and it respawned me in the spikes again. Also the spikes deal 2 damage each, so that's an instant 4 damage.

savage beastfly gets even more bullshit if you leave the area and come back because the corpse run now has a time wasting enemy and trap

found a weird thing in greymour that seems like an unintended sequence break because the map didn't update. I have been in the area above the rightside bench that has not filled in.

and I hit a switch that opened a pit and now i can't get back to where the switch is because the pit is too wide

oh and in sharp contrast to the beast crest fight that I still haven't finished, reaper crest was trivial
