I like the "free if you get it day 1" model
For a new indie, I think it works well
since most sales are word of mouth later anyways
AAA would lose like 60% of their sales, but newer indies that did not do much marketing benifit from it
I really liked awesomenauts more than most people, but not in a way that I expect any game they make to be gold
