I don't think he has a killer mechanic figured out
the last few games he's worked on/teased including the button and lever one
I had to look up the exact name
0x10c, his first spaceship game thing
idk if he ever had a core mechanic for that
he had a built a bunch of neat systems, but I don't think there was ever a 'game' there
I have nothing against notch, but I feel this way about any dev who vagueposts about wanting to make games on Twitter
just make something

uh, I think that's a big enough deal that all the multi-game YouTubers will get back into Rust
amazing how they're doing that thing, that all the other successful small-studio games never seem to be able to do
updating their game
easily, no big games are out, huge new influx of players, hype update
they'll be in the 300k-400k range for sure
it's objectively a really uninteresting game to play if you don't have retarded amounts of time to sink into it
I think Rust has more replayability than most other survival EA games
I think I prefer co-op survival games, rather than Rust style co-op PvP
