it's a joke Max and I make in fact, literally do not understand a single complaint about invisible walls
it feels like an NPC thing, where someone said it and everyone just parrots it
same with the "there are no women" comments
I think the game has peaks and valleys in enjoyment
I also think the opening could be stronger, I was on the fence about returning it or not after 2 hours
but I really enjoyed it, game of the year for sure, actually worth $60
As someone who has not read jttw
didn't feel like I missed out on much either
but I like the idea that the lore is there if you get autistically into it
