as far as languages are concerned they should just make it so they ask you what language you want when you initially download the game and only download that language's audio files. and then give you the option in-game to download other ones if you really want to

the issue is, giving uncompressed textures is not how you should do it

gamers do not need uncompressed textures, it's literally impossible to tell on most setups, you should compress them just losselessly at the highest quality

I think just making everything that you do not need to run the game modular to allow people to costumize how much space the game takes up is the move

what stumps me about is that games do this for textures but not audio sometimes, like yes big hefty audio is an issue, but you can stoll make it sound good without it taking a bunch of space like when i posted in max chat that specially the ps4 version of skyrim, it doesn't have raw losseless audio but it's not insanely compressed and bit crushed like every other version

Halo MCC allows you to choose which Halo games you want to download. It also let's you pick if you want singleplayer, multi-player or both.
