if RFK wins, can we kill redditors please
Replying to Dane #princelydone I dont see how they can make the third person gunplay work with towers. Wouldnt you just snipe the towers from far away? And would the "creeps" even matter when you have so much mobility and all these guns? Although it seems like the guns from that clip max posted are weak as shit
mobas require you to have creeps push towers to damage them, otherwise they get super regen
iirc, Paragon also just gave towers loads of out-of-combat regen
it's weird to want to be a moba rn
Replying to Spooky Phijkchu #spooky.131 this just looks so unfun
i just cant get behind the idea of having to FLICKSHOT
headshotting a creep gives 1.0xp, other ways to kill it give 0.8xo
reward accuracy but make it less cancer
idk if that's good either
but it's better than the dumb souls
Best accuracy person on the team gets a 1.05x XP multiplier at all times, worse gets 0.95x
creep dies, and spawns small target above its head you must race to shoot
I mean, not to over-praise but Valve doesn't really miss. I think it will be great
But Dane, they only make what they want to make and they only want to make stuff that's genuinely good.
With valve's great sense of priorities and polish, this game will probably be great.

I'm positive on WuWa overall,
The explorations/puzzles are on-par with the best parts of Genshin, traversal is also better
The combat feels more action-y, but I'm not convinced now that it's any deeper than Genshin's
Enemy variety is better, bosses are much better, dungeons are better
3-character teams are a negative, and the pokemon are a mixed bag
Even as someone who likes the over-designed style they're going for, they don't come across the best, might just be a reality of the engine/graphics
Story is probably on-par with early Genshin, but something about the cutscenes makes it feel slower, needs a 1.5x speed unirronically
Music is worse, VA work is scuffed in parts
The lack (or holding back) of a bunch of stuff and QoL systems that are in Genshin feels really bad,
feels like a smaller initial cast than Genshihn, which means the story has a lot of lame filler NPCs and less to be excited about
It also just... is Genshin
in a weird way that has made me realize that whatever shadow company builds the engine for these games is the actual power player
Mihoyo and KuroGames have a much easier job than I initially thought
what do you think about party size?
that's probably what has me most conflicted
swapping teams in genshin was slow, so I almost never did it, it's faster here at least, but I mostly just want to be able to use more characters when wandering around without having to micro who is out on which team
if they want to balance around 3-person team combat, I'm 100% on board, but I essentially want a 1 button team swap when ooc
OH but spooky i did think about one thing, about the pokemon/echo stuff in wuwa. I think i might like it more than artifacts in genshin. if only because the monsters have set stats and bonuses, and aren't RNG stats. i hated farming artifacts in genshin because it was almost impossible to get what you really wanted
100%, they're better than artifacts
but uh
what do you mean by set stats?
am I misunderstanding tuning?
