Alright, already found the main speedrun tech

you can infinitely stack bubble wand jumps if you frame or near frame perfect make a new bubble then hit jump while on the previous bubble

jumps are precise, but human doable

there's also some areas, where you can cast bubble foward while momentum caries you back

its 100% trivial

I beat the game

I am not going to do post game, I don't care to

it was okay

I think the biggest problem (playing and watching you play) some combo of the map being what it is, and the overall game aesthetic, makes it really easy to miss rooms and know where to return to

that's all metroidvania to an extent

about 2 hours of that was me fucking around, and I left the game on when I got dinner for 30 minutes

but Animal Well is really inconsistent with how the areas are designed

it good-great (minus some negatives) for a 5 dollar game, its okay for a 30 dollar game

The first couple areas/hours have all the interesting stuff

the worst part of the game imo was the final area

for being as short as it is, its weird how it runs out of steam too

and the water area

I think I did not really enjoy any of the powerups other than the first two I got (disc and bubble)

bubble is always the first item, and then the other 7 you can get in any order I think
