Cosmic Adventure Squad
cosmicadventuresquad.itch.io
oh right
I forgot they were an itch gamedev
the Steam release was only because of hos much it was blowing up
4 and 5 have the best technical tricks
the end of 5 just sucks
I think the best I've done is end of 5 at 2:10
it's actually crazy how much better Deeper Sword was compared to everything else they've made
never forget the real winner
lol
I'm actually kind of shocked looking at their Itch page, its 1:1 the same devs on everything, they individually credit the 3 who made them all
all 72 hour gamejams
but Deepest Sword is so far ahead of the rest
Not at my desk so I did it on my tv
pretty rusty
Alright uninstalling again
I just wanted to do a run where I did not lose 15 seconds to tabbing out of the game and not figured out how to tab back in and also fucking up the gold sword skip in the blue area
(forgot it was just poll vault)
techincally, my 4:20 run was probably a sub 4 pace without those issues
For the record, I did not know that until you mentioned it
it seemed harder than mouse
I did my runs wwith mouse
man, I suck now
I completely forgot how to shimmy with a horizontal sword

deep sword tas is 2:29 apparently
and WR when we played it originally was 2:50
tas does level 3 sword lower path lmfao
there is tech to literally just walk up the ledges by having your sword behind you
100%, that is most of the time save I think
update on the Garry's mod shitstorm
it's 100% confirmed to be fake at this point, despite this Garry has not posted since his "It has to be real, why would people troll me" tweet last week
I keep checking his twitter
I hope he cried himself to sleep when it finally hit him
[PSA] Nintendo-related mods are being DMCA'd by Nintendo themselves...
TL;DR Nintendo is actually taking down mods, Garry and Valve confirmed it. Exactly as the title says. Several Nintendo-related mods are being flagged with DMCA claims and were successful on some notable mods (Such as Apoc Hedgie's Mario ragdolls pack and Super Mario Odyssey pack). Several other mods were also flagged with DMCA claims.
steamcommunity.comThat's from Feb 7th (also oh boy are those comments cringe)
and yeah, real DMCAs are sent to Valve, who will then action them by sending modders their 30 day window to counterclaim
I assume if their Steam account is innactive, they just take it down automatically
Nintendo's doing a good thing here :: Garry's Mod General Discussion
Now instead of blatantly stealing, mod "creators" will hopefully be encouraged to actually be original & creative. Maybe they can make something themself now instead of just illegally stealing from other people.

github.comby the way
this is what an actual DMCA looks like
this in Nintendo's submission to take down all 9,000 Yuzu forks
with Microsoft/Github added commentary, that Nintendo is likely in the wrong here, and how to submit a counternotification
I am actually of the belief that this could be a massive win for emulation, if the issue is pressed
I would put money on that behind the scenes, at least one public advocacy group is trying to rope people together (with free legal support) to push back
yeah, you won't get 9000, but even 5-10%

@heir Blizzard has no idea how to do loot in an arpg anymore
I don't understand why they don't just take D3's current loot system and apply it 1:1
