I forget both of our times, we called it a draw at some point
I like the one where you wedge the gold sword between the two platforms to pull yourself up

There is a lot of stupid cool movement tech
if I bothered to learn the last part of the game with gold sword, maybe I could have gotten sub 3,
unless I did get sub 3
I got sub 4, but was far behind Pika/Rusp
You have to use momentum physics to get to the end with an increasingly larger sword
its a really fun indie game
it's such a great game
Pika learning how to setup all the dragon thrusts
was the most impressive part to me
This game is the closest I came to the autism you need for speedrunning actual games
polar it was more so learning the timing on like, sword 1 to always get it in the fastest lol
last sword I suck at
I was good with the first 3
4 was a crapshoot
ok, if you wondered what the dev has been working on
they just ported it to mobile

the Steam release was only because of hos much it was blowing up
4 and 5 have the best technical tricks
the end of 5 just sucks
I think the best I've done is end of 5 at 2:10
it's actually crazy how much better Deeper Sword was compared to everything else they've made

I'm actually kind of shocked looking at their Itch page, its 1:1 the same devs on everything, they individually credit the 3 who made them all

but Deepest Sword is so far ahead of the rest

I just wanted to do a run where I did not lose 15 seconds to tabbing out of the game and not figured out how to tab back in and also fucking up the gold sword skip in the blue area
(forgot it was just poll vault)
techincally, my 4:20 run was probably a sub 4 pace without those issues
For the record, I did not know that until you mentioned it
it seemed harder than mouse
I did my runs wwith mouse
