It’s very easy to break logic in oot tbf
I can do mario 64 16 star, so once I get 2 keys I can just beat my game

You should watch zfg do mm randomizers then, he gets to show off a lot of variety in tricks cause he plays no logic

Leg you weren’t in the server at the time I think but I had a friend of mine join the server temporarily when I did the drinking new years stream at the end of 2022
My PB for 120 star is 5 hours, but I only need 2 keys to beat the game
So I can finish mine and relinquish the rest of my items when others start finishing
OoT with non crazy settings will be 3-5 hours best case
Idk how long polu or Spooky need for their games
If someone is playing a crazy short game, nothing stopping them from having to play 2 games Kappa
Honestly I’d say pika you should probably try to go with a 70 star run just to not be sitting there bouncing between games

Id also recommend learning canonless so you don’t get stuck waiting on that canon if you randomize those

Progressive keys reduce the odds I get stuck, so I will use that
Star doors being vanilla is probably the safest route
But what are the options
Vanila doors is fine
I am doing stage rando anyways
I can skip bowser 2/3 door anyways, and 8 stars is nothing for 1
I got 8 stars within 5 minutes during the dry run test
8 stars for bowser 1 and MIPS and BLJs for the other doors makes all of them free essentially
Mario 64 has no item locks other than a few stars and basement/second floor
and those doors each block about 1/3rd of the game
so Odds are I get key 1 before 100% main floor
mostly skipable star wise
only a couple you truely need a cap for
every cannon is theoretically skipable
There’s only like 7 stars that completely require a cap
The rest you have alternative methods
