A lot of DRM is to make the barrier high enough that normies do not care to steal it

I feel like I've seen one or two games that tried to make the digital extras an "experience", but most just give you an MP3 folder.
Honestly why the fuck do people care though, just download the flac/MP3 files yourself, from a better source quality anyway.
Some devs don't even bother with a separate Steam listing, it's just a folder in your game directory

but the devs can't set it (us)
so it's basically random
it doesn't show you tags or even artist names
even the fucking track names it just takes from a csv file the devs have to supply

Yeah, only ost I actively bought was the huniepop one, but that was only because I wanted to throw the dev more cash
i just download from youtube if it's availible now, it's high quality and has decent metadata

the autogenerated music playlists aren't as compressed as just videos
well the actual problem with youtube is sometimes the publishers pick a bad mix of a release to be the one that gets sent to all the streaming shit
like the retarded weird stereo mixes remasters of some old music do for some reason
where it's half in one ear half in the other
Replying to Garbage #garbageatgaming Pirate use to listen to music on degraded Cassette tapes, anything is a step up from that
i actually was in music poverty until recently, only having enough file space to listen to sequended music

unfortunately only the dedicated tracker player can play a collection of them consistently so it's hard to mix them in to normal playlists
