Berenstain Stardew Valley ig
Given that the dev helped with Stardew (porting 1.4/1.5), there was a general assumption that he had permission to use the engine/assets
He's now said, that the engine is "totally unique and different", because it loads in 24x24 tiles rather than 16x16, and argues that the minor sprite changes make it completely his own style.
I encourage you to take the time to look up vanilla SDV screenshots (or use SDV's modding tools to decompile the tilesheets directly) and compare them side by side to the assets in my game, and you'll find that, while yes, pine trees, bushes, rocks, stones, stumps, grass exist in both games, they're certainly not just copied and pasted, and at best, I hope you'll recognize the effort I've put into distinguishing them from Stardew Valley's assets.

I still think he should just slap the Stardew Dev on the game, because I feel like this is going to become a more hotly debated thing as release nears
And if he doesn't get a 1,000% full-throated endorsement, he will be a parriah

A game like this is just not needed in a post stardew landscape
despite the 100 of clones released each year
I don't replay Stardew on-loop,
I'm open to a game like this, but in a community where everyone else just mods Stardew
I don't know why his city game exists, if it's still so heavily farming/stardew focused
I still wonder what the next indie that will make a huge 4-5 year trend will be, and what genre
lethal company and palworld blew up, but I think neither will cause a indie boom like stardew did

isnt the goal of Tarkov completley different from what it is now? I dont play, but it been early access forever and i thought its goal was almost an MMO style game
